Sessional Workers
Thank you for your interest in joining the team of doctors working in the Kingston GP Chambers clinics. Before you are booked onto shifts, there are a few steps in the process, which we have tried to make as straightforward as possible.
Step 1:
Once you have submitted your CV via the Register your interest page you will be contacted by a member of our recruitment team, who will discuss the enhanced access set-up covering information such as location, rate of pay and general information.
Step 2:
The recruitment team will begin the on-boarding process, which will include the request for a number of key documents as per our ongoing suitability policy. This shall include mandatory training, DBS certificate, checks for right to work as well as a check of the GMC register.
Step 3:
Please read and review all documents on the KGPC staff portal, under the heading of: Clinical Resources (to be discussed in your induction call). You will be required to enter the password KGPC (all upper case) at the bottom of the page.
Step 4:
Once documentation has been submitted and verified by the Recruitment and Retention Manager, an induction call will be arranged with the Clinical Lead for the service (Dr Richard Hughes)
Step 5:
Send a completed Anti-Microbial Stewardship Self Assessment (found under Clinical Resources) to Dr Richard Hughes prior to your induction call. This will take no longer than 5 minutes, however will be required for our infection, prevention and control.
Step 6:
The admin team will create a login for Windows and synchronise your smartcard to enable correct access to EMIS. In addition, they will also create a login for the rostering system (Rotamaster). You will be provided with instructions on how to book shifts, once set-up is complete.
Step 7:
You are now ready to book sessions! Further guidance on how to use RotaMaster can be found at the bottom of this page.
Step 8:
On site induction
First shift in any new site, you will be given a site induction by the Clinical Services Manager, which will include notification of :
-
Fire exits
-

-
Emergency drug/defibrillator/Oxygen Supply
-
